Missions

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28: 18-20

At Elvaton, we are so thrilled to be involved with God’s work and support various kinds of missions at the local, regional and global levels. We know that making disciples is a critical part of our walk with The Lord! We consider it a great honor!

We work in our community and partner with other churches to reach out to those around us to help meet their physical and spiritual needs. We work with organizations like the Gideons to go into local schools, hospitals, military bases, and hotels to share God’s Word and distribute copies, free of charge.

Local Missions

Regional Missions

Missions are not just to the outer reaches of the world. There are many people in our own region that need to hear about and experience the love of God. We are excited to work together for the furtherance of The Gospel in North America!

The whole world needs to hear about Jesus! We are actively engaged in helping worldwide missions through direct missionary support, and through special missionary events, such as Lottie Moon and Annie Armstrong offerings. We are so thankful to be involved with Samaritan’s Purse and Operation Christmas Child.

Global Missions

We are continually praying that The Name of Jesus is proudly proclaimed, that the truth of God’s love will break through and people will come to a saving knowledge of Him. We aim to spread The Good News of The Gospel in as many ways as we can. It is so exciting to be involved with God’s Kingdom, and see Him move in amazing and miraculous ways in our lives, in our communities and all around the world!
