Dear Friend,

As pastor of Elvaton Baptist Church, let me be the first to welcome you and tell you about us.

Our Purpose: Our church exists to reach people for Jesus Christ, teach them the Word of God that they might become mature, reproducing disciples, care for one another as God cares for us, and magnify our God and King.  In short, we want to be a Reachng, Teaching, Caring, and Christ Exalting community.

My Vision As Pastor:  I long to joyfully and passionately glorify the Lord Jesus in every thought, affection, word and deed while constantly enjoying Him as my greatest pleasure and most precious treasure; and I long to draw others into this same delight through the faithful sharing and unfolding of His wonderful word.

Our Faith:  As a church, we hold to the Baptist Faith & Message 2000: http://www.sbc.net/bfm/pdf/The%20Baptist%20Faith%20and%20Message.pdf

Our Heart:  We are striving to be a church that makes a difference in our community and our world.  Experiencing a living relationship with God is what we are all about. We are interested in you. All that we have is yours for free. We are not concerned with outward appearance. Instead, we are concerned about what is on the inside. We are into building real relationships, strong families, and lasting friendships. We are not perfect, and we know it. We don’t expect you to be either. If that sounds like the kind of place you’re looking for, we invite you to be a part of us as we seek to treasure and honor Christ. We will do our best to make you feel at home.
